Stacie Murphy is a Geriatric Care Manager and Supervisor of Beacon Eldercare. She began working with the company shortly after graduating from Berkeley College in 2009 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. She started working with the company as a Home Health Aide, working both live-in and hourly cases throughout the five boroughs and Nassau County. It wasn’t long after working as a Home Health Aide that she realized her passion for  working with and advocating for the elderly and disabled community. With a strong background in customer service from previous marketing positions and internships, she was able to incorporate her interpersonal and administrative skills into working as a Community Liason for Beacon Eldercare. As a Community Liason, she worked in the community to educate Medical Professionals and organizations about the importance of Geriatric Care Management and the variety of unique services that Beacon Eldercare has to offer. She also attended many networking events throughout New York City and Nassau County. Working as a Community Liason gave Stacie the advantage of learning the operations of each of Beacon’s unique departments. Her knowledge in Medicaid planning has helped many families obtain both Community and Institutional Medicaid coverage through all five boroughs and Nassau County. With about eight years of working at Beacon Eldercare, Stacie is now responsible for supervising an office staff of Medical and Social Work professionals. She enjoys providing a high level of care and compassion for the individuals  that Beacon Eldercare services and looks forward to continuing to  service our community.
